Andreas Dal Santo is a Partner at BlueVal in New York. Andreas has more than twenty years of experience in investments, business valuation, and management consulting.
Before joining BlueVal, Andreas managed more than $1 billion in European, North American, and Emerging Market assets for Arca Fondi, a $35 billion investment manager based in Milan. As Head of Global Emerging Markets for Arca, Andreas invested in more than 20 countries, gaining extensive experience in business modeling and valuation in a broad range of sectors. Before that, he was a specialist in North American Tech, Media, and Telecom investments for Arca.
As a Consulting Director of Research for the New York representative office of the Italian Central Bank, and Managing Director of Solidus Capital Group, Andreas has insight into how monetary and fiscal policy, trade, interest, and currency exchange rates affect the environment for business and managements’ strategic decisions.
Andreas couples his experience in investments, business analysis, and valuation with a deep passion for mathematics and computer science that has led him to venture into quantitative finance, business innovation, and Fintech. Andreas brings to his valuation work significant insights into emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.
Andreas is the co-author of Chapter 4: “Seed Stage Valuation and the Venture Capital Method” in Early Stage Valuation (Wiley: 2020). Andreas is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential of the AICPA, holds the Advanced Risk and Portfolio Management (ARPM) Certificate, and took coursework in Fintech as part of the Future of Commerce program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andreas served as a member of the board of CFA Society of New York from 2013 to 2017. He is currently a member of the board of CFA Society Italy.
