On October 23, 2023, Antonella Puca, Partner at BlueVal, presented on “Private Equity and Venture Capital Update” at the 2013 ASA International Valuation Conference in New Orleans. Antonella reviewed current trends in private equity and venture capital valuation, identified adjustments to apply to the discounted cash flow model to high growth company in an inflationary scenario, and discussed how to apply the market approach to the valuation of venture capital and private equity-backed companies in view of current trends in revenue multiples and equity volatility.
